Aristocrats in Oathbreaker on a budget.

Sorin, Lord of Innistrad was chosen for a number of reasons. He is in the right colors, isn't too expensive, his plus ability makes tokens, his minus can buff the board, and his ultimate can remove other threats and bring them back. Anguished Unmaking as the Signature Spell is nice, as it is instant speed and can hit almost any threat and can be used politically to keep other players from hurting us.

Early Plays: Doomed Traveler and Hunted Witness both make bodies on death. Bloodsoaked Champion is an aggressive creature and can come back fairly easily. Thrull Parasite can remove counters off of opposing Planeswalkers, and can also drain each opponent for 1 every time we cast a spell, causing a decent increase in life for us. Soul Warden works well in a multiplayer format where creatures are common. Vampire Lacerator is aggressive, and the life loss tends not to hurt too much when life is easily gained back. Child of Night is a cheap body. Immortal Servitude can bring back a large number of creatures. Tithe Drinker is cheap Vampire, has lifelink, and can drain the board with Extort. Vizkopa Guildmage can give something lifelink, but more significantly can cause a huge amount of life loss for relatively little mana, assuming there are drain effects out with plenty of creatures.

Death Triggers: Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, and Falkenrath Noble are all of my drain triggers. In singleton redundancy is important. Athreos, God of Passage works well to recur threats or bolt someone for three.

Sacrifice Outlets: Viscera Seer is the primary sacrifice outlet. Priest of Forgotten Gods takes a turn cycle before it can do anything, but being able to hit each opponent with its drain and creature sacrifice is quite nice.

Good Stuff: Mentor of the Meek works well when 17 of the 22 creatures can draw cards, not to mention the tokens that will as well. Kambal, Consul of Allocation is bound to cause a large amount of life. Erebos, God of the Dead turns off opposing lifegain decks and can draw cards. Kokusho, the Evening Star is a large threat when on the board, and upon dying can massively increase our life total. Blind Obedience slows down opposing decks, and can drain with Extort. Sorin, Solemn Visitor does a few things. His plus one can give all our stuff a buff and lifelink for the whole round, making them good attackers and blockers. His minus-two can make a decent body if needed. His ultimate can keep opponents boards clear for the rest of the game.

Removal: Mortify hits creatures and problem enchantments. Hero's Downfall hits creatures and other oathbreakers. The Elderspell can get each opponent's oathbreaker and any other planeswalkers and quickly buff our own. Plaguecrafter forces a sacrifice or discard. Languish is a wipe that gets around indestructible. Being able to hit everything works really well, and we might not care about our stuff dying.

Other: Batwing Brume can save ourselves from a large swing and punish our opponent with loss of life. Kaya's Ghostform can be put on our Oathbreaker (or another large threat like Kokusho) to bring back from death or exile. Sing in Blood is card draw. Arterial Flow makes each opponent discard two, and causes loss of life if we control a vampire (very possible). Intangible Virtue will buff our tokens and make them into better blockers. Exhume can return a threat. While this can get opponents back their best creatures, this can grab Kokusho again for another large life swing.
