My deck of choice for Standard is a take on Sidisi Whip.
Why play the Sultai? They're so deliciously evil, and they're hellbent on ruling Tarkir. They're greedy and conniving, and I really love that.
What does this deck do different?
1) Nyx Weaver is included.
The free mill and tutor turns your graveyard into a pool of resources to pick exactly what you need. I don't see a lot of Sultai players running it. The synergy with Sidisi is too strong for me to pass up. It also frees up MULTIPLE casts of Villainous Wealth late game, which has proved to be absolutely devastating.
2) Kiora, the Crashing Wave
This deck is more oriented towards control, and with Kiora sitting maindeck, I can isolate a solitary beatstick and save kill spells while I build to a game-winning ultimate. Kiora only really works in a deck that can protect her sufficiently, and I feel the amount of board wipes and kill spells in the list can do the deed. She also provides vital mana ramp and card draw to fuel a Hornet Queen.
3) Villainous Wealth
Villainous Wealth is a game ender when casted at 5 or above, bottom line. Getting a Siege Rhino is money enough for it, and late game there is nothing that is more overwhelming than taking their best resources and using it for yourself. Late game, you simply have to go harder than the opponent, and nothing goes deeper than VW.
The late game power of this deck is tremendous, and is usually in command during the grinds that Khans standard can produce.
EDIT 1: After my first FNM at my lgs, I started firming up the decklist. I entered with no Villainous Wealths in any of the 75, and no Soul of Innistrad, Pharika, no Treasure Cruise, and Drown in Sorrows maindeck. I went 3-1 in the projected rounds, and lost my last match when two players went undefeated. I've tweaked the deck since then to bring it in line with what I want. The sideboard won me games in its own merits, and should be fine.
