downside first, you really need graveyards. hold back the first rounds, while look out wich opponent have the best options for your memes.
but luckily we can feed him with our own stuff if times go on.
mimmi can become a really big one if you want (ghalta + it that betrays)
or a tiny ugly one with a annoying ability.
the best way i find out is to go more midrange than aggro and make a bunch of copies of a mimmi thit no targest on the first cast. (okay its a 0/0) but with renata or the anthem it can go really creazy if you quantum him (with vesuvian on board) and the cloners....
That "copy the un-memed mimmi - strategy" is even better when you can mutate him.

in lategame there is always the winCon to blow up your nasty 20/20 (or higher) mimmi after a recast from the commandzone with the Lich-Lord out of nowhere for two lands and 3mana

ps: fun combo is the Ojer Ulamog that play a significant amount of cards from your opponents deck ;)

over all: this deck-idea has a very ranged and situational powerlevel, depending on cards your opponents playing.
you can easily swap the eldrazi with big beasts or demons or even kraken/leviathans.
the horrors are the external commanderbase that benefits from all the exildes cards, easy can swapped to a bunch of budged cards like a discard-rat or a discard spell
