This is my mono-black EDH deck. Its mainly mono-black good stuff with mana doublers, creatures as sheoldred and mikaeus, tutors, boardwipes and draw like necropotence and phyrexian arena.
I love dragon cards so i had to make a deck for the coolest undead dragon card i know.
A short rundown of the deck is that its a mono black deck thats centers around 3 main win-conditions: Skithiryx Infect damage, a big exsanguinate or a big torment of hellfire. The deck is buildt for multiplayer.
So for this win-contitions we have to get a high amount of mana or get a big skithiryx. The deck has 2 equipment thats care about the number of swamps we have to pump our creatures: Lashwrithe and Nightmare Lash. We also have 3 ways to instant speed ways to buff skithiryx, Hatred, Howl from Beyond and Unspeakable Symbol. Unspeakable Symbol, but the life cost makes it harder to not die if you try to 1-shot people, so i normaly using it to just pump skithiryx to a 5/5 so that his a 2 turn clock.
For tutor targets my first main targets are Necropotence and Phyrexian Arena as the deck likes to get extra draw. After that it depends on what you need or what win-contition you aim for but some good targets are Cabal coffers, Liliana Vess, any mana doubler that your opponents might have a harder time dealing with (Artifact or Creature) or if you find yourself targeted a lot in combat, than No Mercy is a great way to make opponents not attack you unless they have lethal. Best value card if you have some life to spare is Bolas's Citadel, Probably one of the best black cards in EDH.
The Sidebord is cards i have that i have had in the deck or that i am thinking about testing or play in tha deck, the maybe bord is cards that i don't own that might be good for the deck. (outdated, might update later. Currently mix of cards i have swaped out and cards that might be good for the deck that i own and somt that I dont have.)
My playgroup is not cEDH so we don't run the superfast mana rocks like mana crypt or the other 0 cost ones but feel free to swap in those if you or your group playes with those.
This list is for me to track my own deck as well as see how much i have spent on it :(, but i find it to be fun for me and most of the cards can go into any black deck, just take out the voltron type cards.
If this deck for some reason gets alot of views and people ask for it i might write a better guide for it.
