G/R Dragons (Standard)

11th at SCG States 4/11 (lost to G/r Devotion, Atarka Red)
2-1 at MNM 4/13 (2nd, lost to UB control)
4-1 at FNM 4/18 (lost to Atarka Red)
6th at 4/18 Midwest Gamez Game day (3-0-1 in Swiss, lost to Jeskai Tokens round 1 of top 8)
3rd at 4/19 Midwest Gamez Game day (3-1 in Swiss, beat Abzan Midrange round 1 of top 8, lost to Atarka Red round 2)
2-1 at MNM 4/20 (2nd, lost to Esper Control))

This deck runs Hornet Nest in the main instead of two Draconic Roars because Hornet Nest + Roast/Draconic Roar is slightly less dead against Control than Draconic Roar on its own, and Hornet Nest is a solid card in every match-up except Abzan Control, which is otherwise a good match-up.

Boon Satyr and Flamewake Phoenix have not yet been tested. They were brought in so that game 2 against control we can side into a more aggressive deck, dropping Roar, Roast, and Hornet Nest for them. Dropping 2x Elvish Mystic and 1x Claws also gives us room to bring in Polukranos and 1-2 copies of Destructive Revelry (keep claws if we don't bring in both). We still want the Caryatid because of wanting to be able to cast Flamewake Phoenix more reliably, on turn 3 (into a bestowed Boon Satyr or a Stormbreath on turn 4).
