Atraxa Fast Infect, AKA "The Kingmaker" (EDH / Commander)

So this deck is built with a few guidelines in mind.

The first is - where the Infect mechanic in Commander is concerned - the concept of budget is off the table. Regardless of what the mouth breathers say, Infect IS NOT a busted mechanic in a singleton format. In fact, it's so grossly underpowered, we are enlisting the help of most of the dual lands and every decent fetch land to aid in our cause.

The second is a focus on a diverse strategy. We have "cheat into play" and "reanimator" components. We are also using the Mutate mechanic for evasion and value.

Lastly, we are eschewing a lot of the traditional Infect game plans for outright, balls-to-the-wall speed. This deck is built to emulate a mixture of Modern Infect and Burn - mashed together as to provide some fast starts to guarantee early infect damage. The game plan then transitions into a Proliferate plan, with the option to conduct a select alpha-strike or two to finish each opponent off.
