Jeskai Control

This is a Jeskai Control Deck. You play like Draw-Go.
First your Task is it to have a clean board. You have good spot removel till turn 4-5. than you have sweeper and planswalker. dont use path to Exile to early!

if you are sure with a clean board and you can handle the following spell of your oppenent you can cast a planswalker. not before.

in bad matchUps you have the beatDownPlan because of the redSplash with lightning bolt and so on.

in this list are no Terminus because it takes a lot of Cards for this mechanic in modern. a Terminus in Hand feels clunky and bad. you can cast it turn 6 without jace, the mind sculptor. if you habe a jtms in Hand it isnt sure that you can cast him in turn4 and brainstorm because it is easy to kill him then. if you want to cast Terminus in oppenents' turn, you Need opt or so on, too.
Terminus is a great Card if it resolve. but it is hard work in modern. i think it is esier to cast turn4 a settle to wreckage. it removes creatures, too. yes, he gets some Basics and it isnt great for us.but remove the attacking creatures on turn4 is more important than turn 5 or 6 and maybe we lose a planswalker. so the trade is maybe the same.

for the creatures who not attack and run into settle the wreckage the have spotremovel like lightning bolt, lightning Helix, electrolyze or path to Exile.

with settle, path and ruin the Basics are fast in play and he cant find some others.

secure the wastes is a great winoption eot against each deck. it is important for the mirror, death shadow and for planB the beatDown.

SideB.
Surgical extraction over rest in peace. rest in peace is the best answer for graveyarddecks. but this decks have a lot of removel for rest in peace after sideboarding. and surgical extraction is hard to beat for this decks.
surgical is better against combodecks if the countered 1 copy of the keycards. or a tronland after used field of ruin.
rest in peace destroys our 4 copies of snapcaster mage, 3 logic knot and 2 search for azcata. i think our snapcaster mage is important, so i use surgical extraction.

izzet staticaster maybeboard. it is a amazing Card vs creature decks. but it is a easy target for oppenents' removel. if we have no target so he has a dead handcard.
and for creatures we have like no other deck in modern a lot of removel. so is this Card a Slot in this Sideboard? i think no.

vs Dredge and Phönix decks Anger of the gods are great!! so i think we Need a Slot for it. abrade is god ,too. but same Problem: what we have to cut ?!

in a lot of bad matchups damping sphere is great.
but we Need 2-3 copies in our sb if we want to Play it. so we have to cut other good sb Cards for it. and in my expirience when we sideboarding damping sphere, the oppenent has the perfect answer for it like nature's Claim or echoring truth or so on.
so if we dont sideboarding this Card our oppenent has the dead answer in their Hands. so?!
