-This is the case in which you have already won or lose.
If you are against control and you don't have already gained great advantage against the opponent, you probably have lose the game. But if you have Rakdos's Return you can come back anytime. In those situations it can win you the game alone.
If you are against aggro in this phase, and you played well, you shouldn't be able to lose. Your creatures are too bulky and BIG to be threatened by any brainless horde.
If the game is stalled, you can try to close it out with Lavaclaw Reaches, really useful in these situations. In general, it's preferable not to reach turn 10-11 with this deck against more lategame threats such as Planeswalkers or unbeatable creatures (Wurmcoil Engine, Eldrazis, Titans, etc); playing this deck well means that you should win by turn 6-7-8, attacking with big creatures an harmless and surrendering opponent.
Conclusions:
This is a really versatile deck, but try to use a proactive game plan instead of a reactive one. You're a midrange, not a control! You can't beat a deck designed to work in a certain manner using its same method. If it happens it means that your deck is overpowered and the game was unbalanced from the start. Same thing for aggro decks: you can't overwhelm an aggro playing aggro! Just follow your strategy and you'll eventually win.
Just try to not be behind in control early because it can excalate quickly and badly.
It's a deck designed 4fun and for 4fun matchups, not competitive ones. It surely can work with some changes (Ob Nixilis for a non-budget Liliana, Olivia Voldaren for Master of Cruelties, more Archfiend of Depravity and Bloodgift Demons or Demigods of Revenge instead of Desecration Demon...). The budget will surely change but it's your choice. I created this deck to only have fun seeing other people and friends tilt as I play my favourite, most versatile and funniest cards.
Hope you like it at least half as I do.
