Reforestation is a Green Ramp power deck utilizing defender control to stop the zerg deck floods that make up a strong portion of the modern format meta. Following that main board has several win conditions built in with blightsteel via infect and unblock-able titans buffed by ursapine, lets not forget as well the helix pinnacle win condition this deck can consistently pay for at the end of an opponents turn winning at the start of your turn.
This deck does take some skill in deciding when to gen wave and for what amount, how much to invest in a particular turns mana ramp and how much mana to leave in reserve. Its weakness game one are control decks leaning towards BU and mono B. for the most part defender decks can safely ignore red aggro CC.
The side board is designed to take this deck from a stall and one hit combo and flip it 180 into a true green beat down, or inversely make the deck very hard to stop as a control player. as a side note door to nothingness is in the sideboard specifically to break open Safety decks and health ramps.
The basic goal of this deck is to ramp out defenders until you hit 7 mana potential. at 7 mana the math for brutalizing doubling cube rolls into your favor. for every mana you cna generate beyond 7 is just icing on the cake. if possible try not to gen wave for less the highest costed card currently in your deck to avoid any wasted drops.
Combos: Remember one Vigor can still die to damage but 2 Virgor cover each other.
my favorite way to win aside form the classic rouges passage into blightsteel for 11 infect Game set match is the swing with a manor gargoyle, after no block is declared tap a defender for like 20 mana and use ursapine to ramp manor up and hit for lethal. More often however im utalzing ursapine to buff a blocker or add stats to a card to prevent its death (aka -3/-3 all cards, on the stack i give each card +1/+1 until they are safe.)
So this type up is really short and pretty weak but im at work and should prolly do something productive.
