I believe that of all the color combinations, simic is the dumbest.
For many years I refused to build one because I find it just too good. Recently my playgroup disagreed so I created this deck to explain my point of view. Its not innovative, and nowhere perfect. I built it with what I already had in my collection.
I did buy Edric, Alrund's Epiphany, Notorious Throng and a few cheap flyers and dorks (Fyndhorn elves, flying men, artificer's assistant) but nothing else really
The goal is to make the playgroup recognize that some strategies are boring and op if rule zero is skipped.
Worthy opponents : Win the game without having a single opponent scoop
Not a chance in hell : Win the game without using a single extra turn
Ban this card : Killed 3 opponents using infect.
The gang is all here! : Have all twelve elves on the battlefield.
Salt mine : Win the game by having all your opponents scoop
You chose poorly : All your opponent chose "Time" when Expropriate resolved.
I got time : Took 4 or more extra turns in a row
I can afford it : Payed the buyback cost twice for Walk the Aeons
Secret of Mana : Tapped Priest of Titania for 8 or more mana
I Have The POWER! : Gave over +7/+7 to your board using Jolrael, Mwonvuli Recluse activated ability
Crowd goes wild : Win using Strixhaven Stadium
Woke : Awakened Part the Waterveil
Cheap trick : Won using Triumph of the hordes
3 Musketeers : Tapped Harabaz Druid for 3 mana
Harvest moon : Searches 10 lands or more with harvest Season
