It's based around simply gaining life. The Glint Hawks work very well with Peace Striders. Lay a Strider down, gain the health and then drop the Glint Hawk and return the Strider to your hand.
Creatures are mostly cheap, save the Deathpact Angel. I put that in cause it's 6 mana for a 5/5 Flying, and it's a filler that does quite nice. Sorin helps immensely with the life gain due to his +1.
Multiple games have been saved by pulling a Debt to the Deathless mid or late game. It does better than any other card I've used like it, mostly cause its "two times X" as opposed to just X.
Transguild Prominades are there to assist with the lack of one type of mana, black or white. Traveler's amulets help to but become useless once a Pithing Needle is introduced. Pristine Talismans assist with both mana and life gain so there is no downside. Except maybe the 3 drop cost.
