This deck's idea is simple: "combat damage to a player". When ever you can damage your opponent, he will have Dark Times, while you will gain benefits like Zombie tokens, card draws, etc.

To make it even worse to your opponent there are few unblockable creatures witch can be equipped with Fireshreaker or Deathrender to make them even greater threat. Or just equip blockable creatures like Liliana's Reaver with Prowler's Helm. And with Bident of Thassa on the field that would make your opponent discard a card, while you draw a card and put 2/2 Black Zombie creature in the battlefield under your control. Or perhaps make Mirko Vosk The Mind Drinker unblockable? Your opponent's deck will be milled just in few turns.

And if your opponent's creatures become nousy, just for few mana you can defend yourself with Fog Banks while the threats will be destroyed quickly with Shiekmaws, Evil Twin and Murder.
And with cards like Death Denied, Midnight Recovery, Rise from the Grave and Soul of Innistrad, your opponent will see all the nightmarish creatures again and again...

All this is made easier with the control which this deck will give you. You will draw something what you need much more likely than your opponent.

Deck pro's and cons:

  • Satisfying and fun to play
  • Includes many deadly combos
  • Pretty good card synergy
  • Weakness against black decks
  • Not many ways to destroy artifacts or enchantments
  • 70 cards, not 60

Hope you like it! Comments and suggestions and more than welcome! I will always try to make this a better deck!
