Kolaghan's Desecration into Burning Bridge (Modern)

This deck has put me in the top 16 for Modern States, and Modern Open Series events. It placed me in 5th at a PPTQ.

Control the board by trying to get two for ones with Kolaghan's Command, Blightning and board sweepers until you can throw out Demigod or burn out your opponent.

Do take note that this deck does not have any Thoughtsieze's or Inqusition's as they honestly do not provide enough value. Blightning and Kolaghan's Command give you more reach and value in this format. Dimigod is an overwhelming threat as most control decks outright loose to him. Master is there to seal up games where you have stabilized but find yourself behind in. Swiftspear is there for early game beats as she often, in combination of the looting, burn, and kill spells, finds herself doing 10 damage give or take in the first three or four turns. having Demigod as a shoe in for lethal on turn 5 if you have an extra in the grave.

If against aggro or midrange decks, board in Bottled Cloister's and Ensnaring Bridge for a demeaning lockdown. Elixer is there to bring in just to make sure you don't deck because of Cloister, it's also saved me a few times against burn.

Rakdos Charm is great for graveyard hate, Affinity, Twin and also a work around for people who bring in Leylines against you.

There is an option here to run Simian Spirit Guide instead of Monastery Swiftspear. However, Swiftspears pull alot of weight in the early game and also pull kill spells to keep your bigger threats a bit safer.

Another Note, the Crux of Fate is obviously a budget choice and should be Damnation.
