So here we are using both Elvish Mystic and Llanowar Elves as mana ramps. We are wanting to get out our big hitters as quick as possible. Village Messenger is a pain to deal with and can quickly become a 2/2. Fanatic of Xenagos is a great card and a complete pain to deal with. Regardless it gets a +1/+1 counter (temporary or permanent) and makes your opponent really question what would be best. it catches them off kilter with the "Tribute 1" ability. Deadbridge Goliath is a card that you can essentially use twice. It's a great value card being a 5/5 4-cost once it enters the battlefield. It can also be used for its Scavenge ability which adds 5 x +1/+1 counters onto any creature on the battlefield. Outland Colossus makes you really question what you should block and when. If they let it go it activates the Renown 6 ability. The other plus side is that it can only be blocked by one creature at a time. Lightning Bolt, Searing Blood, and Roast are just great value removal spells and helps you keep a small control of creatures on the field. Xenagos, the Reveler is a great planeswalker to have in this deck. Pretty well all of his abilities help bolster everything. His +1 you get additional mana in your mana pool. His +0 you get a 2/2 Satyr token with haste. His ultimate allows you to play an up to 'X' amount of creatures from the top 7 cards in your library. That's a potential 7 creatures.
The Mana base is fairly simple. The Treetop Village is a great land and helps reinforce your attack stage. Rootbound Crag is an easy duel land that won't come in tapped so long as you have at least a forest or mountain already in play. The rest is comprised of forest and mountains. 19 lands is plenty enough to run this deck consistently and in most cases you can play with at least 4 lands present on the field.
