[EDH] Doran the Siege Tower - Treefolk Tribal Version (EDH / Commander)

Doran, the Siege Tower is one of the most unique and beloved commander, thanks to its great ability. Great with realy tough creatures, it opens to a realy special build with some incredible outcome.

To start, we always want to play Assault Formation and Belligerent Brontodon, both an alternative to Doran, the Siege Towen if our opponents should manage to destroy our commander. The other two cards we always want are Tree of Redemption and Tree of Perdition, just great wall creature with a perfect ability for our deck.

Tree of Perdition is especially valuable, letting us eliminate our opponents easly while becoming an huge problem for them.

While it's very easy to build a midrange deck with this commander, we could try a Tribal Treefolk build. Luckly, the treefolks are pretty thugh too and this helps a lot. The best ones are easly Black Poplar Shaman, for the protection that can provide, Sapling of Colfenor, for the draw without any side effects, Treefolk Harbinger, as a great tutor, and Ulvenwald Observer, who should give us some extra cards. Obviusly Timber Protector it's the best Lord in this list.

Playing as aggro tribal, we have access to discount cards like Bosk Banneret, Herald's Horn and Urza's Incubator while we can fix our mana with Pillar of Origins, Cavern of Souls and Unclaimed Territory. Even cards like Aura Shards, Murmuring Bosk and Green Sun's Zenith gain some extra value with more creatures in our list.

To be sure we can attack through our opponents defence, we can try to destroy everything but our creatures with Retribution of the Meek and Wave of Reckoning or make our army unstopable with Behind the Scenes, Nylea, God of the Hunt or Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa.

Doran, the Siege Tower will offer, as a good commander, a great and special way to play and will lead to good and fun spot in every game.

Doran, the Siege Tower è uno dei comandanti più unici e amanti, grazie alla sua grandiosa abilità. Fantastico con creature piuttosto massicce, apre ad una build davvero speciale con risultati incredibili.

Per inizare, vorremo sempre giocare Assault Formation e Belligerent Brontodon, entrambi alternative a Doran, the Siege Towen se i nostri avversari dovessero riuscire a distruggere il nostro comandante. Le altre due carte che vorremo sempre giocare sono Tree of Redemption e Tree of Perdition, fantastici difensori con l'abilità perfetta per questo mazzo.

Tree of Perdition è particolarmente valido, permettendoci di eliminare più facilmente i nostri avversari mentre diventerà per loro un enorme problema.

Mentre è molto semplice montare un mazzo midrange con questo comandante, possiamo provare un'approccio Tribale Silvantropi. Per fortuna, anche i silvantropi sono piuttosto robusti e questo aiuta molto. I migliori sono sicuramente Black Poplar Shaman, per la protezione che può fornire, Sapling of Colfenor, per le carte che farà pescare senza effetti collaterali, Treefolk Harbinger, come fantastico tutore, e Ulvenwald Observer, che dovrebbe fornirci alcune carte extra. Ovviamente Timber Protector è il miglior Signore che questa lista possa avere.

Giocando come aggro tribale, abbiamo accesso a sconti tramite carte come Bosk Banneret, Herald's Horn e Urza's Incubator mentre per il mana fix abbiamo Pillar of Origins, Cavern of Souls e Unclaimed Territory. Anche carte come Aura Shards, Murmuring Bosk E Green Sun's Zenith diventano più abusabili visto il numero di creature nella nostra lista.

Per essere sicuri di superare le difese dei nostri avversari, possiamo provare a distruggere tutte le nostre creature tranne le nostre con Dusk // Dawn e Wave of Reckoning oppure rendere il nostro esercito inarrestabile con Behind the Scenes, Nylea, God of the Hunt o Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa.

Doran, the Siege Tower ci offrirà, da buon comandante, un grandioso e speciale modo di giocare mentre ci porterà verso ottime e divertenti posizioni in ogni partita.
