DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is a mono-white control deck.
Differently from other decks with similar strategies, I opted for a more 'brutal' way of control, and a more decisive way to close.
(Side note: I HATE tokens. So please, don't tell me that Sacred Mesa or stuff like that would be great because I won't simply play it. In fact, this is a tentative to give an ALTERNATIVE to those strategies.)
So, how the deck works?
We have to endure till 3T, with martyr and walls, then ghostly prisons, trinispheres, rule of law and obv ring will bring us to a slow but sure victory.
The sinergy with fetchlands/Ghost quartr and Crucible is nicer than it seems, you can exhaust the mana reserves of the oppo (no matter how you put it, for late game one land less in his deck is one land he CAN'T use to keep his creatures/attack with them). Once we are late in the game, Hopefully with an Emeria/Sun Titan in play, we can gain a masive amount of Life with martyr died during the match, and eventually wait that the World Queller proves the words in the color text true.
Eventually, Phyrexian Metamorph can copy the oppo's big guys, which are heavily restricted and have hard time surviving because of Magus/Prison work.
Hunted Lammasus are just there to beat the life up from the oppo, giving him a usless token that will occupy more his mana or, eventually, sacrified.
Finally, Disenchant and Rebuff the Wicked and Oblivion Ring are there to ensure that the oppo won't play some dirty trick.. Or to keep him from becoming your friend ;)
I have to admit it: is just theorical, I actually never tested it versus other Modern decks (T1 combo elves bypassed the many mana denial and creature control, while W/U Sliver, Belcher and a mediocre Reanimator where easy thing to beat)
I'd Love to hear your CONSTUCTIVE thoughts about it, and some ORIGINAL and INSIGHTFUL comments on the card I could change and how I can improve the SiB.
Thanks All for the patience reading this Wall of Text! :)
P.S: Please write in English. I can't understand German.
