The goal of this deck is two fold. First is to either mill the opponent quickly using the Excavator/Shapeshifter and the mass amounts of allies entering the field. I can also pull creatures out of the grave with the Occultist. The second is to drain away life totals with the Diabolist. I'm aware that splitting the difference is not always the best method, but regardless of how I go about it, I'm letting my creature count do the work. I'm planning on playing this against a group of friends who will undoubtedly be using various strategies in a tribal setting. I think this sets me up advantageously against most of them.
