The Dream (v2.0) (EDH / Commander)

"It's only few downsides are likely to be that it's not super competitive (and it's not intended to be) or that it's lore-immersion is a bit broken by [Planewide Celebration], though that is due to the cards ability to Proliferate four (4) times. It's far too good of a card to not include and perhaps could be explained as a simpler time on Mirrodin prior to The Phyrexians (advanced lifeforms) shorting out or becoming self-aware. Perhaps Kaladesh is a Mirrodin (pun intended) of what a society would have looked like had The Phyrexian not existed or is foreshadowing what Kaladesh will soon become." - iteration #1 of the deck.

This deck is attempt #2 at making a Phyrexian try-hard Golem deck. After finding shortcomings in both the mana-base and overall playability. I went back to the drawing board. I learned that the Red Phyrexian did not have much hands-on involvement with Atraxa and overall didn't meddle in the affairs of his brother/sister-en.

So, Atraxa's power level and abilities are probably going to make this deck shine. Now, much like the first iteration, I could simply just go green/black stomp-y infect and be done with it, but that's not fun to me. I like the infect mechanic and it's flavor, but I can't stand one-shots or simply cheap wins. So, no major buff spells (or at least nothing too heavy).
