To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Do you like being the archenemy? Then this is a great deck for you. Do you long back to pre-2010, when manaburn was removed? Play Yurlok!
The deck revolves around groupslug pieces that go great with Yurlok. The deck tries to tax the way your opponents use their mana and make it hard to keep up interaction. Want to keep up mana? Power Surge and Citadel of Pain will punish you in your upkeep. Want to tap out to prevent this? Price of Glory and War's Toll will punish you instead.
There's an enchantress theme woven into the deck to draw some cards, which works pretty well since the deck wants to play a lot of enchantments anyway.
I've tried to not use too many effects that double mana for your opponents (like Heartbeat of Spring or Mana Flare). Exceptions are Overabundance (due to the damage effect) and Magus of the Vineyard and Eladamri's Vineyard because not all decks utilize green that easily.
The deck is lacking some X spells as manasinks but Destiny Spinner or equipment can be used to great effect to empty your own manapool so it doesn't burn.
There's some infinte mana combos in the deck as well. The ingredients are (creature that taps for 3) + (mana increaser) + (equipment) to go infinite.
Creatures can be Yurlok or Bloom Tender. Mana increasers can be Leyline of Abundance, Nyxbloom Ancient or Mana Reflection. Equipment can be Sword of the Paruns, Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination (not technically an equipment but hey, it's a staff).Cards like City of Solitude or Dosan the Falling Leaf are risky, but can help you go off without having to fear for counterspells or removal.
