My take on Hazezon.
This deck is the result of 8 years of refining and fine tuning to get Hazezon to play the way I like. I think of this deck like a sorcery speed swiss army knife, that being said It's a greedy deck that only follows one plan; try to play a haste enabler, a sac outlet, and some way to multiply Hazezon's etb or the resulting tokens. If you can manage to get those things in place before or as you cast Hazezon you only need to worry about alpha striking. Then if you get to the point of having tokens out that you can swing with the final thing that is nice to have is an anthem. In essence it's a token deck with several hoops to jump through, but with the upside of regularly having very explosive games where a 7 mana commander fom yesteryear is able to battlecruiser 3 other people to death in a single combat or two.
And yes, the land count, ramp, and draw are all very very lean. I sometimes suffer for it, but everything else feels necessary to me, and I find it incredibly difficult to cut or replace anything anymore.
