To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
You ever think to yourself; "If I could just drop Atarka on turn three my life would be grand"? Well that is more than a possibility here.
This deck is pretty straightforward in a lot of ways. Cryptolith Rite combined with Eldrazi Scions means you can double your mana output from each squid baby you sacrifice. Just tap then sac and then enjoy the other guy's facial expression as you turn the battlefield into Jurassic Park. Mardu Vampires and Izzet Prowess can eat dicks and die to a turn four casting of Desolation Twins, in Standard. The other component is Delerium. It allows you to make the most of Traverse the Ulvenwald and dig out beautiful new monsters to make your friends disappear. You want Atarka instead of the Bane? Pay one green and fish her out.
I also chose to do a bunch of one-of's for both budget's sake and variety. In some cases it may be better to whip out the Void Winnower and break the game than drop the big Twins. Looking at the Prowess decks on that one...
The sideboard is largely a collection of alternates. Don't like the Arishan Sovereign? Replace it with Geralf's Masterpiece. Want a little more control? Add in the Angel of Deliverence for more removal or Dragonlord Silumgar to make their things your things. The Breaker of Armies to force an opening for your other beasties. Beyond that there is some added removal and ramp. Zendikar Resurgent adds card draw as well as ramp, and price really shouldn't be an issue here. Also, the Survivalist is a cheap enchantment/artifact break that can also be used as a body to convoke with. Hence it's addition over an instant or sorcery.
Either way, thoughts are appreciated. Obviously turn three Atarka is not a sure thing, as games are always subject to the drawn hand, but it is legitimately possible.
