Another deck I had in mind was a Gruul landfall/elemental deck that prominently featured Nissa, Vastwood Seer. The build is nothing particularly complex in that is relies a lot on Landfall triggers as well as the use of land creatures. To my understanding the two Embodiments' abilities can be stacked on the same land at the same time, and once an Earthen Arms is added to the mix you can generate a creature that is far beyond the range of many mid to even late game creatures. Plus Magmatic Chasm could make all of said creatures unblockable by most strategies that are played right now. Nonetheless the deck is designed to hit the opponent really, really hard. A lot.
Sideboard is there to add recursion through the Groundskeepers as well as removal. Lots of removal, as I didn't really put any in the mainboard. Consider it a sort of taster's choice. Also Animst's Awakning went in there due to my own personal experiences with it as well as the deck's not being as land heavy as I had originally intended.
An additional thought or two. Originally I had planned to run the Pyre Hound instead of the Glade Watcher, but that created issues in the mana curve. There were just too many four drops. Also, in playing around with the build, Mina and Den are beneficial for later game when the land draws peter out. However, I found them routinely being passed up for other cards in the hand, so if they were to be dropped, a good alternate could be Evolutionary Leap. The card adds a sacrifice mechanic that you can take advantage of with Omnath. Sac Elementals to deal direct damage to the player or their creatures.
