This deck, as I have yet to play it, has no confirmed strategy. From my observations, however, it looks like a fun deck to play. A rule that I tried to stick by whilst making the deck was that it must follow a theme, and the theme was "Lovecraftian horrors". The idea came up while I was talking with some people in my playgroup about H.P. Lovecraft, so I did some trades for bare-bones materials that fit. After a few searches on the gatherer, I learned that Wizards isn't in short supply of really creepy and alien cards. I'm surprised at how the mana curve went so smoothly, because I'm not the best at guiding that. The deck is full of creatures that you would expect to see in "The Call of Cthulhu" (River Kelpie just outright screams "IT'S THAT THING IN THE LAKE!!" to me), "At the Mountains of Madness" et cetera. Also, the humans in the deck are supposed to represent cultists, and the merfolk go without saying. I'm not taking out Cosmic Horror, anyone with a taste for flavor would shoot me if I did. Finally, feel free to comment on criticisms on specific card usages, and of course tell me if specific cards don't seem to fit the theme!
