Arcbound Silliness

Because what is arcbound if not silly? Modular was a ridiculously overpowered ability when it came out, and while artifact-only decks aren't the go-to anymore (and quite frankly in my opinion should never have been so common and easy to do, damn you Mirrodin), decks with a focus on the modular ability can snowball very easily.

This deck can be used in a few ways. Your main keys are Skeleton Shard and Kuldotha Forgemaster. They will allow you to sack your arcbound creatures and then put them back onto the battlefield, thus refreshing your creatures (defenses) and also provided more +1/+1 counters to stack onto other creatures.

The other side of the deck are the black spells, Bone Splinters, Altar's Reap, and Essence Harvest. Bone Splinters is easy enough to get; sac an arcbound, destroy a creature, then bring it back with Skeleton Shard. Altar's Reap is along the same lines; sac, draw, replay. Lastly, and oh boy not least, Essence Harvest. Build up one (or more) big creatures to suddenly rip your opponent's life down while replenishing your own!

Of course, this is an easy deck to counter and play against. There are so many counters to this strategy, but it can be fun to throw your friends for a loop when they don't expect it!
