The Many Tides of War (EDH / Commander)

This is a non-infect Rafiq with control enforcers focused on x1 playing, but can handle gracefully a multiplayer environment.

The main objective here is to create an environment in which Rafiq or any other can connect their attacks taking advantage of Exalted and Rafiq's ability. In order to create this environment a few control cards were inserted and taking control of opponent creatures are game changers here. Flying creatures are also abundant as well as some trample and unblocking tricks.

Some combat tricks would grant us the victory or a huge advantage, so Might of Oaks and Epic Proportions may cause hit kills mainly when Rafiq is left ublocked. However, this deck must not trust only on Rafiq, so there'are others beat sticks mainly flyers who keeps enough pressure to force opponents to answer them and don't have enough resource to combo. Some equips are present to provide protection and removal possibilities, so some specific tutors were included.

This deck has an aggro explosive look, but several control cards, card advantage and ETB effects grant a capacity to deal with mid-long games. Grave recursion can be seen everywhere, bringing creatures and spells almost all the time back to game. This had a nice effect into creating fake safe situations for opponents in which finishing unexpected attacks is frequent.
