This is a deck I play around the kitchen table with friends. The strategy it pretty straight forward, remove the opponents creatures and attack. When any creature dies, your equipped vampires get 2 +1/+1 counters. Land can come out a bit slow due to coming into play tapped, but it's usually pretty easy to clear the board and take control once you get the mana.
There are 24 creatures in deck and potential to kill 14 creatures with spells alone. Tragic slip can be easily combo-ed with your other creature kills. If you get Anowon in play it's just icing on the cake.
Devour Flesh, Feast of blood and Vampire Nighthawk provide some life gain in addition to the 8 non-basic lands.
Don't use your creature kill spells until you feel it's necessary, you want to wait until Blade of the Bloodchief is equipped if possible.
Consider targeting your own creatures with Devour Flesh or Feast of Blood if you really need life and the opponent has no creatures.
You will usually want to equip your weaker creatures rather than stacking all of your counters on a single vampire. Equipping a weaker creature makes things difficult for the opponent because they cannot kill one of your bigger threats without having another one of your creatures gain 2 +1/+1 counters immediately. Vampire nighthawk is the only creature you should consider stacking counters on as high as possible due to the lifelink.
One last thing to remember is that Markov Blademaster gets 2 +1/+1 counters from her ability if not blocked. 1 counter for the First strike combat phase and a second counter for the regular combat phase. If unblocked as a 1/1 creature she will deal 1 damage the opponent and gain a +1/+1 counter, then deal 2 damage and gain another +1/+1 counter. She will deal 3 damage total and finish combat as a 3/3 creature.
