Weird B/W Tokens (Modern)

One of my favorite packages is Viscera Seer and Blood Artist- it rewards conservative gameplay and negates a lot of the advantage more powerful cards give. For instance, tarmogoyf is undoubtedly more powerful on curve than blood artist, but if built properly a blood artist deck can chump and drain until it's insurmountable for the tarmogoyf to win. In this way, blood artist really punishes fair decks and removal heavy decks.

Now even though I really like this package, I can't really say that this deck is more effective than the classic b/w tokens list. Our biggest problem is that blood artist relies on death triggers, which means that rest in peace completely negates that strategy. Luckily for us, Rest in Peace doesn't see hardly any play in current white decks in modern- except for the classic w/b tokens list, that is. Since I personally believe that rest in peace is debatably the strongest sb card available in modern, it really hurts to cut it from the classic list in order to make our strategy work. Instead, I chose viscera seer for a sb option as it can be used to chump effectively against lifelink- blood artist relies heavily on incremental life advantage, which lifelink really hurts. I also cut a land since we no longer have 4cmc sorin's to worry about.
