Many decks have a hard time against this strategy. Opposing creatures cannot block flying tokens, nor can they deal damage easily due to chump blocking and healing. If a token must block and die, it gets replaced with several more tokens. Creatures with 1 toughness die when blocked by a token. Larger creatures can die when blocked by tokens if vault of the archangel , intangible virtue , or sorin, solemn visitor are in play. All creatures, even those that do not attack, fall to spot removal. Cheap spot removal is great for dealing with high toughness creatures and non-attacking creatures like merfolk lords or dark confidant. It provides tempo advantage against high cmc creatures like siege rhino by wasting opponents' turns. It spares us some blocks as well, which means the tokens can spend time attacking. Hand disruption can take creatures preemptively, and can also deal with any other threat. For only one black mana, disruption can remove the opponent's most important card, buying time for the token strategy to take effect. It also ensures that cards like pyroclasm or disenchant will not be played. Disruption occasionally wins the game on its own by punishing fragile hands or shutting down combo strategies. The color white give the deck access to extremely effective sideboard cards, such as stony silence and timely reinforcements. The deck is one of few that are immune to spot removal, making cards like dismember useless. So when opponents sub out their removal, a subbed in hero of bladehold goes unanswered.
bitterblossom , lingering souls , spectral procession -the best. flying is vital, as it allows more damage to go through, and prevents tokens from being destroyed by blockers.
intangible virtue -all tokens can attack, since saving one to block isn't necessary, and all deal extra evasive damage. Then all can block as 2/2s, allowing for gang blocks.
sorin, solemn visitor -the lifegain and redirection to sorin means that the tokens do not need to block, allowing them to pound the opponent with extra evasive damage. Sometimes its necessary to block in order to keep sorin around.
auriok champion -a little meta, the lifegain and potential blocks mean you don't have to chump block with tokens as often, so that's more damage the opponent takes. She also turns off bitterblossom 's penalty, and is difficult to remove, which is necessary as tokens aims to make spot removal useless.
thoughtseize and inquisition of kozilek -see above
path to exile -can be used as ramp on a token or auriok champion
dismember -lifeloss not a big penalty with all of the healing
murderous cut -lots of fetches, instants, and sorceries in this deck, cannot be used earlier than turn 3 though.
vault of the archangel -trade a token for a tarmogoyf, and the lifegain will save one's bacon every now and then.
windbrisk heights -0cmc to search for a useful card and it provides mana. also lowers the costs of some cards like sorin. spectral procession makes it work all by itself. lingering souls can make it work on turn 4 if bitterblossom or auriok champion was played on turn 2. timely reinforcements from the sideboard makes it work as well.
fetid heath -allows spectral procession to be cast on turn 3 even if a swamp was played. It's a pain-free dual-land that prevents more pain since fetching into a shockland becomes unnecessary.
hero of bladehold -if it isn't removed, it's a better finisher than sorin, solemn visitor and intangible virtue. Since opponents will sub out spot removal games 2 and 3 if they have any, hero goes unanswered.
timely reinforcements -destroys naya burn, which I predict will be on the rise, and performs very well against other creature-based decks. It is particularly great in this deck due to interactions with cards like intangible virtue and windbrisk heights.
duress -you can sub this in against almost anything. If the opponenet plays lots of noncreatures or a few important ones, it will probably outperform the other disruption spells.
engineered explosives -a sweeper that doesn't target the 0cmc tokens. Try not to destroy bitterblossom or intangible virtue.
stony silence -this card is so good it is justifiable to splash white just to have it. It guarantees victory against affinity and severely cripples tron. Those are 2 top tier decks that should become much more popular now that twin and amulet are out of the picture.
