(Sacola) Equipment Weenies (Legacy)

Deck made for the "Sacola" casual format in Brazil: a legacy based format with a $10 USD budget limit based on Star City Games NM prices (not counting lands). The deck does not possess a sideboard due to the format's budget restrictions.

This deck is a mono white Kor/Leonin creature based deck that powers them up with equipment artifacts, relying on fast, low cost strategies with avoidance and life gain.

HOW TO PLAY:
The most basic combo and plays you should be doing on your first two turns is getting a Kor Duelist equipped with Leonin Scimitar so that he can defend against creatures or attack using double strike. Or you could be dropping an Ogre's Cleaver on turn 2 then equipping it with only 2 mana in the 3rd turn by playing Kor Outfitter, Kor Duelist will become 6/1 double strike - effectively killing most attackers he blocks by turn 3 and/or hitting for 12 points.

Kitesail Apprentice fills the role of flyer and also gets boosted by being equipped. Sunspear Shikari gets initiative and lifelink, which is useful for defending and building up life as defensive measures (or getting back what you've lost). All the equipped creatures gets buffed by the the Stone Haven Outfitter, and in case they die you'll be getting an extra card. Kemba, Kha Regent will provide you some cannon fodder by being equipped with anything every upkeep, and is pretty beefy.

Explorer's Scope will help you get land draws out of the way, and the Swiftfoot Boots will help both defensively (hexproofing important creatures) or aggressively (haste). You'll be able to slow down or get rid of tougher creatures with Oppressive Rays and any other pesky non-land permanents using Soul Tithe. Loxodon Warhammer can provide more attack power to your attackers and add trample and lifelink (use it on Kor Duelist for maximum effect) Brave the Sands will help you defend yourself better by blocking additional creatures with your initiative (Sunspear Shikari) and double strike (Kor Duelist) and also keep you attacking with vigilance.

This deck is not about dropping bombs, but keeping a steadily growing force to snowball your opponent and outlast him/her with life gain.
