Lich (Casual)

As I saw this card, I just had to built a deck with it. Even if I had no idea how to handle it. Lich was simply too tempting to ignore it. The abillity to stay alive, even if you have no lifepoints anymore and draw a card for each lifegain seemed to be perfect to avoid annoying creature-decks. But there was a snag. How to obviate the sacrificing of permanents when you are dealt damage everytime? I've searched for some combos to avoid all damage, and then i found Delaying Shield, which converts regular combat-damage to lifeloss. So we don't need to sacrifice permanents everytime anymore. To ensure that Lich stays in the game and Delaying Shield will protect us from harm, I've added Greater Auramancy, and in dublicate our combo was perfect. No we would have all time to "play" with our enemy. But at first, we needed to accelerate this process, so we can't loose before round off our metamorphosis. For this, i added Demonic, Vampiric Tutor and Dark Ritual. To keep off our enemy to disturb our combo, we play Thoughtseize and Extirpate. So we can remove dangerous spells and slow down him and Vendetta removes creatures. When our combo works, usually in the 4./5. round, we can start to show our new might. Ad Nauseam seizes us to draw all the cards we need, without taking risk of lethal lifeloss and Reminisce avoids a lose by drawing our whole library. No we have all resources to control our enemy with cards like Word of Command or Imp's Mischief. If we had enough fun with him, we can defeat him by a few sources. Haakon, Stromgald Scourge and his fellowship is a stable army of knights which will decrease his lifepoints immediately. The discard at the end of your turn and the buyback of Demonic Collusion helps to bring Haakon into your graveyard. Otherwise the ultimate of our planeswalker can kill our enemys very quickly. If you are playing against several players, Repay in Kind lends himself for a quick end. Mana shouldn't be a problem, because nearly every land is a swamp and Cabal Coffers gives you more black mana than you can use.
