The goal of this deck is to have one crazy turn where we storm off and win. The true power of Eruth is that it turns card like Brainstorm or Burning Inquiry into straight up draw 6 for 1 mana. This does require you to be empty handed to get full value, but that is a bonkers amount of card advantage for just 1 mana. As long as we can keep generating mana to fuel our drawing, we can easily churn through our deck and win.
In terms of piloting this deck, the hardest thing is deciding when to try to go off. You want some amount of setup, because if you fail to win, you will likely end up empty handed with half of your win conditions exiled. Cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer or mana generators like Storm-Kiln Artist help ensure that we don't run out of mana when comboing off. Additionally, if it looks like you are going to run out of draw effects, it can be best to play as mana mana rocks as you can and then try to go off the next turn. It takes a lot of feel to pilot this deck optimally, but once you get the hang of it, the deck is super powerful.
The plan is to draw with our powered up cantrips and generate mana with rituals like Pyretic Ritual. The rituals often generate only red mana, and most of our draw is blue, so color converters like Chromatic Orrery are important for continuing to combo off. We then win by either Aetherflux Reservoir damage or drawing our entire deck and then winning with Thassa's Oracle.
The is also the infinite combo of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, although it can be hard to get Dramatic Reversal into our hand since we exile as we draw, but Spellseeker and other tutors do the trick. There are plenty of additional nuances to this deck, so if you have any questions about sequencing or additional tips, please comment.
I am open to any suggestions on how to improve this deck.
