Esper Mechanized Touch (Standard)

The goal of this deck is to use Mechanized Production not as a win condition, but as a value engine in the mid to late game.

If we get to a point at which we need card draw, we attach Mechanized Production to Prophetic Prism; If we have a good board presence, we enchant our Chief of the Foundry; If we need to stabilize our life total, we enchant our Filigree Familiar; Finally, to maintain or stabilize our board presence in the late game, we enchant our Gearhulk. Restoration Specialist provides a decent body in the early game and the ability to recover any of our important artifacts or enchantments in the mid to late game.

Ixalan's Binding was chosen over Cast Out as it prevents the casting of any future copies of the card it exiles. Key targets include Glorybringer; Hazoret the Fervent; The Scarab God; Longtusk Cub; and Whirler Virtuoso.

Sram's Expertise let's us stabilize against aggro by giving us bodies and the free casting of and one of twenty cards in our deck. Of particular interest is Chief of the Foundry: Getting four 2-power creatures on the board for four mana is a great rate.

Our sideboard contains Lost Legacy and Duress to deal with Gods and Carnage Tyrants before they can hit the board and the option to go aggro with Ornithopther and Tezzeret's Touch because who doesn't like a 3-mana 5/5 flyer? And if we happen to win with Mechanized Production, that's just the gravy!
