Years ago, back in the days of Timespiral.... I created this concept. Of course things were a little different then... 40 cards were the legal minimum.
This decks was literally a Butcher in those days; my MTG circle created decks to specifically counter this deck (darn you goblins!). Either way, back then, it was my most proud deck creation.
With the (oh so illegal) dark ritual - turn 1 / 2 you can really set the opponent back, by being a dirty land destroyer or recycling there hand with the shockers. Use the mesmeric fiends to control there potential drops and then if they do manage to play something, simply faceless butcher / petravark it leaving way for multiple barbed shocker triggers. Most games resulted in opponents with lands / creats in exile, whilst getting milled.
Of course, the concept as a 60 is still the same, but may not be as effective. Hopefully it wont subtract from it's Butcher-ness ;)
Let me give it a try :)
