DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Sacrifice creatures to stuff like Ashnod's Altar or Ghoulcaller Gisa to take advantage of sac effects from things like Grave Pact and Gutter Grime. Then, recur those creatures back for their enter the battlefield effects, such as Acidic Slime's artifact/enchantment destruction, or Sidisi, Undead Vizier's exploit ability. When you have more cards in your graveyard than what you can recur, cards such as Spider Spawning and Lord of Extinction take advantage of that. If you need more creatures to sacrifice, cards such as Mycoloth are there to produce tokens. And when things look grim, utilize a board wipe such as Plague Wind.
You'll eventually be able to control the board, by producing tokens, destroying enemy enchantments and artifacts, and forcing your opponents to sacrifice their own creatures while maintaining a healthy board state for yourself.
Win conditions include: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord with Death's Presence or Mazirek, Kraul Deathpriest to produce a ton of counters on one creature, then sac it to Jarad. The same can be done instead with Lord of Extinction or Mortivore if everybody's graveyards are full of cards. Or, you could try getting enough mana through Black Market to cast Plague Wind, and then Rise of the Dark Realms right afterwards.
I hope this explanation helps you understand my deck, and that you are inspired to build a Meren deck yourself with my tips so that you may also be the cancer of this plane. :D
