I've ran into some very powerful elemental decks over the last couple weeks on Arena. It has been one of the harder decks I've had to play against. I like that the deck always throws out a few different cards to make it hard to play against (can zone in against any one card, because the deck may be going a different way after Risen Reef.
I had the deck nearly built before deciding to tear it back down and go a different direction. I like the cooperation of the various Chandra's with Elementals the best of all the versions. I also like the idea of including a few Chandra specific cards to the mix to spice up the deck.
Chandra & Accessories
1) Chandra, Awakened Inferno
I have tried this card in multiple decks and have never found the right home for it. This is it.
The one-sided board wipe is the all-star, but the other functions are very powerful also.
2) Chandra, Novice Pyromancer
*All three abilities are very relevant.
3) Chandra, Acolyte of Flame
*You mostly just want to create tokens, but all three abilities are relevant.
4) Chandra's Triumph
It is decent removal on its own, but it is big time removal with Chandra.
Great target for Acoloyte to whip back.
Elementals
5) Leafkin Druid
Ramp that counts as an elemental.
can attack with anthem effects from Chandra.
6) Risen Reef
*Not as powerful as in other elemental builds where the deck is focused hard on high counts of the tribe. here it is more about getting a couple free cards a game and some additional ramp to hit the big bombs.
7) Omnath, Locus of the Roil
*removal, burn, beater, and card draw all "roiled" up into one. Horrible.
8) Cavalier of Thorns
*Big body that drops a land (which probably triggers multiple effects)
9) Nissa Who Shakes the World
*Putting the excess lands to work and winning games single-handed.
10) Chandra's Embercat
*a one-of Elemental to help with Elemental count and ramp.
Non-elementals
11) Arboreal Grazer
ramping and later drawing cards.
nice blocker to survive to the midgame.
12) Lava Coil
*solid removal for most situations
13) Hydroid Krasis
*if you are in the colors, then it is a near auto-play.
