To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Premise:
The deck ramps into Fires of Invention and then plays bombs.
The deck also draws a crap load of cards which is pretty sweet in any Fires deck.
*There is a nice Elementals synergy in the deck as well. Elemental beatdown in effect.
Play Style:
The deck is pure aggression. Ramp and then start pumping out threats and drawing more cards.
Nissa can win games single-handed, but sometimes Nissa is a big bad distraction from what is coming next
*Gales, Escape, and Krasis ensure the deck never runs out of cards.
Elementals (14)
Just enough to get the synergy for Risen Reef and to help enable Omnath.
lots of ramp and card draw
Elemental Enablers (5)
1) Nissa, Who Shakes the World
produces elementals, so while not triggering Risen Reef they still count for other effects.
plenty of lands to turn into bodies here.
2) Chandra
the sweeper does not kill Elementals and Krasis is likely to be bigger than 3 toughness.
removal for a deck severely light on it.
Why Embercleave?
*The card may be the most powerful effect legal in standard and the deck is playing some serious threats to load up. Even an Elemental land can be a good attacker.
