Sakashima + Kodama (Keepin' it 100) (EDH / Commander)

Building a casual EDH deck for MTGO. I use manatraders to rent decks, so I build my decks with a 100 tix limit.

I'm playing partner commanders Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Kodama of the East Tree. Outside of having the longest names ever, there are also a ton of ways to build around these. For this deck I'm looking at focusing on creatures. The build will incorporate ways to load up my hand with creatures and cheat them onto the battlefield.

The deck is built around ways to trigger Kodama as often as possible using mostly a creature toolbox. Sakasima serves as a second copy of whatever powerful tool the deck has at any given time.

Engine 1) Momir Vig and Rashmi
-This is a nice combo to do some top deck manipulation to cheat and draw cards.
-Neither card triggers from Kodama putting a card in play, but they do combo from casting a creature (which the deck still intends on doing)
-The powerful synergy lies with Kodama triggering each time Rashmi triggers and being fueled by extra cards that we search up with Momir Vig.

Engine 2) Imoti
-If you cast Imoti the turn after Kodama, there is a chance you may empty your hand. Kodama will trigger from Imoti and the cascade spell.
-Since cascade is a cast trigger, it pairs well with Rashmi and Momir Vig.

Engine 3) Lurking Predators
-Besides all the free creatures that the LP will put into play, there is also a trigger for Kodama each time.
-Momir Vig helps ensure that there is always a creature on top of the deck to trigger.

Cheat Effects:

1) Bramble Sovereign- there should be mana available to make copy tokens with all the ways to cheat cards into play.

2) Elvish Piper- excellent way to cheat creatures with Kodama.

3) Birthing Pod- great way to find the right tool when we need it and also trigger Kodama. Be careful when to Pod if you are working with the topdeck. Best to Pod when the card on top is a noncreature.

4) Prime Speaker Vannifar- Pod on a stick.

5) Nylea. Keen-Eyed- Cast creatures from top of deck and also is a cost reducer.

6) Vizier of the Menagerie- look at and cast creatures from top deck.

7) Vivien, Monsters Advocate- look at and cast creatures from the top of library, and free creature tutor to play on a cast creature trigger.

8) Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy- mana sink to cheat creatures that also helps ramp into the Engines.
