Every card in the main deck is Pirate related. It is funny that none of the cards are a stretch and are excellent in the deck.

The deck plays very fast. There are a lot of low costed creatures that serve as perfect tempo creatures.

Disrupters:
Siren Stormtamer (1)
Kitesail Freebooter (2)
Deadeye Tormentor (3)
Hostage Taker (4)

Pump/Anthem:
Metallic Mimic (2)
Admiral Beckett Brass (4)

Aggro Beaters:
Rigging Runner (1)
Kari Zev, Skyship Captain (2)
Dire Fleet Captain (2)

Note- The one and two drop creatures have a fair amount of evasion through flying, menace, and first strike

The noncreature main deck cards all fit the Pirate theme as well.

Card Draw:
Smuggler's Copter (2) pseudo creature
Chart a Course (2)

Removal:
Fatal Push (1)
Walk the Plank (2)

The lands are amazing for this deck. Although the deck is mainly standard legal, the lands are where Frontier makes it shine. Hardly anything will enter tapped and you will always have what you need, unless you are very unlucky. Playing the shards in Frontier is a great advantage over playing the wedges due to the allied fetchlands.

The sideboard sticks with the Pirate theme, however, in a few cases we had to play certain cards to make the deck competitive.

Vs. Removal:
Spell Pierce (1)
Duress (1)
March of the Drowned (1)

Additional Removal:
Wild Slash (1)
Abrade (2)
Ulicensed Disintegration (3) Eight main deck artifacts

Creature:
Ruin Raider (3) Good substitution for Hostage Taker against control or combo decks
