The core of the deck is an aggro tribal deck, however there are multiple other layers to the deck.

(1) Aggro- the deck is built around a rough sligh curve. The creatures curve as follows (1cc-13, 2cc-12, 3cc-3, 4cc-2, plus Sorin). The general goal is to play multiple creatures on turn 3 or 4 with consistency.

(2) Lifegain- There are 13 creatures with lifelink and Sorin. The lifegain serves multiple purposes. A) Lets us outlast other aggro decks. B) Allows the deck to play lands that must pay 1 life to produce colored mana C) Allows the deck to easily play Sign in Blood and Anguished Unmaking.

(3) Creature growth. There several ways to pump up our Vampires. There are 12 creatures that pump creatures, must of which do so with +1/+1 counters. There is Sorin and Always Watching for static pump. Also, Shefet Dunes is great in the late game as pump.

This is a fun deck to try out. It is not lightning fast out of the gate, however in the midgame the creatures can really get boosted up to smash some face. It's the type of deck that can really catch someone by surprise as it feels like you are not doing a whole lot and a few turns later you have an army of 3 and 4 powered creatures swinging in. The life gain really makes the difference as you can stabilize against the mono red decks every time you attack.
