Boros Heroic (Modern)

Basically it's built around Heroic triggers with Pegasus in to make attacking Humans (all other creatures in this deck are human) have flying and enchantments, especially Ethereal Armor. Started off with more instants & sorceries for targeting the trigger but this version with enchantments has more staying power.

It's essentially an old standard deck I ran when Theros first came out with a few changes (Champion of the Parish for Arena Athlete, Hyena Umbra for Gods Willing, & Monastery Swiftspear for Nyxborn Shieldmate).

And yes, this deck really does run fine just off of 18 lands. In 200+ games played with it I've only been mana-screwed once...and that was really my fault for a bad shuffle in between games. I actually ran this deck for 2 years with only 16 lands and just recently added 2 to help if the games go longer.

Can be budget with a cost of about $40 without sideboard. I included the playset of Sacred Foundry's just because I had them, originally I had just 2 more of each basic and it ran fine.

Sideboard suggestions are welcomed.
