His deck is fairly typical. Most variations to the Maindeck are in Toolbox cards. Also, players vary the number of Viscera Seers from 2-4. It depends on how you value the Combo as opposed to the Toolbox in your strategy. I run 3 Seers, leaving 5 Toolbox slots available as opposed to Ralph's 6 slots. I won't say he's wrong, and not just because he won a GP with his plan. I think anywhere from 2-4 Seers is potentially correct. I like more than 2, since Seer has a lot of synergies. My toolbox right now is 2 Spellskite, 1 Fiend Hunter, 1 Voice of Resurgence, 1 Qasali Pridemage.

Seer synergies (note all are instant speed): sack the Voice of Resurgence to make the much bigger token, protect a Finks from Path to Exile, sack a Finks to gain life against burn, stop lifelink by sacking a blocking creature, and scry, scry, scry.

Other pro-tip: you declare what X is when you cast Chord. You choose the creature you pull when it resolves. So if you can, always make X=3, so if your opponent does something that makes you change your mind, you can find anything with CMC = 3 or less, which is pretty much whatever you want. Often your Plan B is to get Eternal Witness and get the Chord back.
