This deck is designed to produce a lot of artifacts. In the three times that I've tested it so far, I've controlled on average of 12 artifacts each game. This allows to do a lot of damage with the Reckless Fireweaver, cheaply cast the Gearseeker Serpent, and reduce cost of the improvise cards. In case you don't need to improvise, the Rebel will help you instead tap the artifacts for damage.

On turn 4 you can often already cast several cards per turn using improvise, which enables card draw through Jori En, Ruin Diver.

Since you will be casting more cards later in game, the multiple clues you get help draw extra cards in a pinch, and there is also cheap(er) card draw with Reverse Engineer.
