To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
So this is my Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker tag-team deck. There are two things I like to do in EDH; play cards off the top of my deck, and put dice on cards. This is the latter. Rather than Infect, where I put dice on other players, or Superfriends, which costs a lot of real-world currency, I went with a "does this put dice on cards or care about how many dice are on cards?" strategy.
Since most the cards in this deck either put +1/+1 counters on themselves or other cards it's important to interact with them. Winding Constrictor and Hardened Scales add an additional counter and Corpsejack Menace can just straight-up double them. Vorel of the Hull Clade actually doubles the number of counters on creatures. Also, there is enough token generation in the deck to make Cathars' Crusade a serious threat, though that card doesn't need much to abuse it.
One of the things this deck tries to do is draw cards. Bred for the Hunt is the perfect card to do that, and Tezzeret's Gambit has the added Proliferate. And combining Sage of Fables/Zameck Guildmage with Lorescale Coatl/Chasm Skulker is a good way to get an engine going. Armorcraft Judge and Inspiring Call are conditional, but have a lot of potential. Plus, Prime Speaker Zegana and Fathom Mage are fantastic Simic cards that I don't usually get to play. Plus the always consistent Skullclamp, especially when combined with Awakening Zone or From Beyond.
The main strategy is to go wide with tokens and build up counters. If that doesn't work it's always possible to just voltron your opponents out with Reyhan and Ishai. All suggestions for cards and strategies are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
