[PDH] Stromkirk Captain (EDH / Commander) [Revisión 15]

This is a tribal aggro deck. I've found that vampires seem to be unbeatable after they get +1/+1 and First Strike. I particularly like First Strike with Deathtouch. If any enemies are still particularly tenacious/tough, I added Flying and Menace cards for evasion to help cinch the kill.

Going for a tribal deck makes deckbuilding easier. Playing pauper makes that even easier. That said, I still have a score of instants/sorceries/enchantments/artifacts to sort through, hence the enormous sideboard/maybeboard/tokens area. The current deck is a list I forced myself to through together based on the available creatures, which was thankfully easy enough. The sideboard is the previous version of the deck I was trying to make work before I abandoned it for a year. The maybeboard is WHY I abandoned it for a year. The "tokens" are the maybeboard of the current build, disregarding the actual sideboard/maybeboard. Not confusing at all, right? This deck had a ton of potential, so I just had to make SOME kind of build. Then I can worry about the rest of the cards later. After all, this is a game, and games are meant to be played.
