In the Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate pre-release, I drafted a Rakdos Gut deck and won my pod. I realized I loved this "artifact aristocrats" theme, plus Gut's 4/1 menace skeletons are rad as hell, sooo...
Rakdos Artif-ristocrats. I only WISH I could have gotten Agent of the Iron Throne during the draft. It's... so damn good! I know everyone's saying how good Iron Throne Agent is, so I'm going to be "that guy" that makes the deck, and Gut looks to be its best "partner", so being able to use a favoured creature too makes me happy. I guess Wilson/Imoen might be better because Ward 2 means the background is more resilient, and antimagic in Imoen's case, but I really wanted Reckless Fireweaver & Ingenious Artillerist, plus the great treasure-makers in red, so at the very least this is MY Agent of the Iron Throne deck.
Treasures become a sub-theme because... they're just so damn good! Better than 1/1's, better than blood tokens, and maybe even better than clues, especially since we can sac them all in response to someone trying to remove Gut/background. I think I may need more protection for Gut, but I really don't want to take anything else out for it, so let's just play with it for a bit to see what works and doesn't work in PRACTICE. There's a massive hidden maybeboard of cards that I wish I could run, the ones in the current maybeboard are the ones that I most loathed to cut.
Edit: A year and a half later I've decided to revisit this and give 'er a bit of an update. Mirkwood Bats, for one. 3 more lands, for another. (I apologize for only running 30 lands originally.) Took out some jank and put in some good cheap fodder. This is a good update, I feel.
