My current discard/removal-based midrange UB faeries deck. The heart of the deck is a 52 card mostly tapout blue-black faeries package that provides combination of targeted early game disruption, removal, and card selection (1 drops), the faeries Bitterblossom / Spellstutter Sprite core and stronger removal/disruption (2 drops), and the engine/flexibility of Jace the Mind Sculptor and Cryptic Command (4 drops).

This UB faeries core is supplemented by 8 mainboard slots and 10 sideboard slots that with a selection of powerful midrange threats and disruption/counters to handle a wide range of matchups. This includes: (1) Liliana of the Veil and Thoughtseize to handle the many modern decks that require a critical mass of cards to function effectively, (2) Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, Liliana, the Last Hope, Hero's Downfall, and Engineered Explosives to handle creature-based decks, including graveyard-based ones, and (3) additional hand disruption and counter-magic to handle big mana, control, and combo matchups.

The remaining 5 sideboard spots are meta-dependent, but frequently include additional graveyard or big mana hate, as these are the matchups the deck can frequently struggle with. In today's graveyard-heavy meta, this is 3 Nihil Spellbomb and 2 Surgical Extraction. Ceremonious Rejection, Dispel, and Disdainful Stroke are options when when Control, Tron, and artifact prison decks are more prevalent.
