To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
you tap devoted druid for G mana.
untap devoted druid by putting a -1/-1 counter on it.
use G mana to remove the counter from devoted druid by using quillspike ability giving him +3/+3.
repeat.
when u you finish you can get GG mana in pool and 1000/1000 creature.
after that you can choose how to kill your opponent (rite of consumption, fling, soul's fire).
because both devoted druid and quillspike are green you can choose what color to add to them.
red has 2 finishers in instant speed which can be in response to a removal at eot (fling, soul's fire), the down side is that red has no way of searching...
black has only 1 finisher at sorcery speed (rite of consumption) the life gain isn't important since u instantly kill your oppnent. but black offers searchers such as beseech the queen (twilight mire + verdant catacombs fix mana for e.g.) and diabolic tutor. downside: slow tutors (3-4 mana), sorcery speed.
black : rite of consumptiom, diabolic tutor, beseech the queen (advantage: tutors).
also for tutor in green can use summoner's pact or primal command to fetch either devoted druid or quillspike.
the combo can be done by turn 3.
turn 1 : forest
turn 2 : forest, devoted druid
turn 3 : mountain, tap 2 forests and devoted druid to play quillspike(summoner's pact), generate 1000/1000 quillspike, tap druid for mana and mountain to cast fling for 1000 damage on your opponent.
same can be done in black, just switch mountain with swamp and fling with rite of consumption.
now we should see which deck has more stability, consistency etc...
