Saruman - Meat is Back on the Menu (LotR only) (EDH / Commander)

All Lord of the Rings jokes aside, the naming of the sections already suggest that this is a budget deck I made just for fun. This will probably not win you any tournament, but it is IMMENSLY fun and flavorful!

Here is a couple of notes on this brew after a couple of rodeos ( ~8 matches):

• weakest link is the mana base that hold this brew back. I restrict myself to LOTR cards even for the lands for maximum flavor. Manarocks and multicolored lands pool is simply put not the greatest.
• interestingly enough, for a blue deck the draw is not great either. I even try to keep the "LOTR baddies" theme for all the cards as much as possible, so some of the good draw spells that appear in e.g. the elven deck are missing on purpose.
• the ward ability from Saruman is much better than anticipated. Trying to be not the most aggressive player and keeping it low key until one explosive turn is the strategy to go, especially due to the slow speed of this deck.

I would rank this as a solid 5. Great for battling against other upgraded precons.
