A deck which always gave my brother fits is my land destruction deck. I think it's quite versatile with the weapons available to me. With the right opening hand, the match could pretty much be over before it starts. If I start the game with a bad draw, all is not lost. I have multiple ways to clear the board and start over again.
Obviously the goal of this deck is to destroy land and hopefully force an opponent to empty his/her library. But I do have other tricks up my sleeve. Cards like Howling Mine, Millstone, and Grindstone help along this process, as does Helm of Obedience (which would be my only source of creatures).
I have a number of different cards which can help eliminate land whether they be in play, in an opponent's hand, or still in their library.
I can deal damage via the Black Vices, as well as through the playing or destruction of a land.
If I were to redesign this deck, I'd likely remove two of the Black Vices and double up on a couple of the other cards.
