To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!

Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Scarab God is a sweet way to always have a threat available while playing control. Also, every creature you counter or remove is a threat that's going to join your ranks.

This is where you want to be if you like control and draw-go strategies but also want to close out games when you have the chance to.
Also if you like to punish your opponents for the cards they play. But who would want to do such a mean thing?

Have fun!

Note: This is a competitive deck. Keep away from casual environments.
If you want to build Scarab God Control casual, take out the fast mana, some of its excessive card draw, Mana Drain and Winter orb. Go with Graveborn Muse, Nekrataal, Phantasmal Image, Cavern Harpy, Decree of Pain or cards at a similar power level and you still have a well-performing, interactive, synergistic and fun to play casual deck.

Recent Changes:
Exsanguinate will be tested. There is a chance that this deck dies to its Necropotence and Mana Crypt because its win conditions are slow.
Paradoxical outcome + 2 Baubles - Nice card advantage and cycling, even better with Snapcaster Mage / Yawgmoth's Will. To be tested.
Pongify + Swan Song for Fleshbag Marauder and Hero's Downfall - Being sorcery speed and non-selective hurts and the synergy with the commander does not make up for that.
